I am a licensed artist, represented by MHS Licensing, skilled at creating trend-forward layered artwork files for the use on various products.
My love for creating art for everyday items was born when I was in my 20's after losing someone so very close to me. Small parts of my heart healed each time I visited my local bookstore. I didn't know then that I was on a path that would eventually end up here -- being the one creating art with the goal of bringing a spark of hope and a hint of joy to all who come across it in their daily lives.
If you were to go through my art styles throughout the years, you would find a wide array. I began this art journey leaning heavily on my training as a graphic designer. But as I delved deeper, my art transformed—becoming a reflection of my journey of faith.
I am an eclectic artist. I have elements of watercolor, acrylic and ink in my art. There are sketches, doodles and illustrations, as well. And all of it or some of it - I never know until the art is finished - is brought together in one piece of art.
my everydays + my faith = why I create.
My artwork is a reflection of my journey of faith. A journey marked with many imperfect days. And there is a quietness of my heart that draws its strength from God. And it is in that quietness that I create. It is the “why“ I create.
"We always know when Jesus is at work because He produces in the commonplace something that is inspiring.” ― Oswald Chambers
